For example, for a user whose network name is MaryK, the following path, \\NetworkShare\Profiles\MaryK, would create a directory called MaryK in the Profiles share on the server used to store user profiles.

The above guideline is for those user account that is in domain, it is provided for reference only. When your user profile path is set to none, the roaming profile option will never be enable. When you set the user profile path to a network location then the roaming profile will automatically set.
